- Medications will be provided that are safe and useful for you in the opinion of the VA provider.
- Only VA stocked medicines will be provided, with very few exceptions.
- In many cases you may get a generic/equivalent medicine.
To request outside medication:
- You must provide notes and labs from your private provider to justify the need
for the medicine and the actual prescription.
- This information may be dropped off in person or may be faxed by your provider
to the VA doctor.
- Indicate if you want the medicine mailed or pharmacy pick-up.
